The Shooting Case

By request of counsel on both sides, the examination of McRoberts, charged with killing a colored man, has been postponed until the 22d instant. In the mean time the G and Jury which will convene early in the coming week, take cognizance of the matter. The next appearance of the case will probably be in the District Court. McRoberts was remanded to jail to await the action of the authorities. The counsel for the State consists of Messrs. Withrow, Sibley and Orwig; for the defense, Messrs. S. V. White and J. S. Polk.
