A Missouri newspaper publisher . . .

. . . the proprietor of the Boone County Standard – has been tried by court-martial and found guilty of publishing news intended to give aid to the Rebels. The sentence includes banishment from Missouri during the term of the war, and the confiscation of the press and materials of The Standard office.
