STRASBURGH, May 15, [1862]

The rebel cavalry in small parties hang around our front, apparently watching our movements and hunting up deserters.

An attempt to flank our advanced post at Narrow Passage Creek was frustrated last night by Gen. Hatch, Chief of Cavalry, without an engagement.
