This regiment arrived on the battlefield at 6 A.M., April 7th, 1862.  At 8 A.M. advanced under the fire of a battery of artillery.  Occupied this position from 10 A.M. to 11.30 A.M.  Enemy gave way; regiment followed until late in the day.  Casualties: Killed, 4; Wounded, 36; Missing 2; Total, 42.
