The Assembly has passed a joint resolution authorizing the
Governor to send three physicians outside of the General Assembly to Sugar
Creek to look after our men who were wounded in the battle there.
A dispatch from Judge Baldwin, Council Bluffs asked the
immediate appointment, which was complied with.
