Thirteen million dollars of the new demand notes are
expected to be ready in Washington on or about the first of April, the smaller
denominations being issued first. The
whole ninety millions will not be completed, probably, before the middle of
May. The National Bank Note Company, by
the arrangement, prints only the $50 and $100 notes.
