It is reported among steamboatmen, that Government wants
fifty more boats. The old steamers City
Belle, Alhambra and Golden Era, belonging to the Minnesota Packet Company,
passed down yesterday to St. Louis, where they are to undergo repairs, and will
probably be offered to Government.
