Recognized

The body mentioned yesterday as having arrived at the Express office has been claimed by Mr. George W. Robinson, of Blue Grass.  The deceased was Chas. M. Robinson, of that township, and was a private in Co. B., Capt. Cleveland’s Eight Regiment.  He died at Sedalia, Mo.  He was about 21 or 22 year of age, and leaves a wife to mourn his loss.

A coffin . . .

. . . containing a dead body, and addressed to George W. Robinson, arrived at the express office night before last.  There seems to be no such person known around here and the agent is somewhat perplexed to know what to do with it.  It came from St. Louis here, though it is possible it came there from beyond that city.
