I think things are rapidly hurrying to a crisis of one kind
or another, and it depends now not in the ability of those who have proved
deficient, and are behind, but in the courage, energy and ability of the enemy,
who are before. All my fears are realized, my foretelling come true, and I
await the result of the last month's mistakes and crimes, unable or not
permitted, by health or position, to assist or resist.
