Companies B and C, 2d Regiment

We had a call yesterday from Mr. Mark Thomson, of Long Grove, in this county. He was a member of Co. B, 2d regiment and is wounded in the left arm, the ball passing through it and splintering the bone. He and Capt. Littler were the only ones in that company wounded – Jacob Weary of Penn, who enlisted in this city, being the only one killed. In Co. C there were five wounded, but none dangerously. These were the only companies in that regiment from this county.
