A LETTER from Mr. Steel, of Rock Island,

now at St. Island, published in the Argus says that he left Mr. Hedges, whose death was at one time reported; at Leetown Ark. He was unwilling to be moved to Cassville, and though doing well, would not be in a condition to move for a number of weeks.
