    We're wondering why Cissel had to transfer.

    BTW,General Milroy's uniform and sword are in the Rensselear (Indiana) Library.

    I don't know. I don't have his Compiled Service Records, and they would most likely tell. But I have a feeling, that if you looked at other's in the 87th Indiana Infantry I would suspect the Benjamin W. Cissel was not the only one transferred.
