From Harper’s Ferry

WASHINGTON, May 27 – By despatches received this morning from the War Department, we learn that the affairs are quiet in the vicinity of Harper’s Ferry.

A message from Gen. Banks dated 1 o’clock this morning says that Captain Coats, of the French service, has brought his command into Hancock, having had two killed.

A later dispatch from Gen. Banks says all is quiet at Williamsport.
