BOSTON, March 1. – Col. Lee and staff arrived here last
evening. They were received at the depot
by Gov. Andrews and staff and a large crowd of citizens who greeted them with a
hearty welcome and enthusiastic cheers.
The city Government proposes giving Col. Lee a public reception some
time soon.
