The wind has been
whistling around the cabin all day. It's been misty, but we've had little rain;
have been to church and written home. We have a goodly sized log chapel covered
with the fly of the new hospital tent. Mrs. W. A. Child was present and sang, a
rich treat, for it has been a long time since I've heard a lady's voice at church.
Sergeant J. M. Read has been in this evening.
