REGULAR MEETING, COUNCIL CHAMBER,

April 2, 1862.

His Honor the Mayor not being present, on motion of Ald. Kauffman Ald. Davenport was called to the chair.

PRESENT – Ald. Schmidt, Weinert, Kauffman, Gillett, Davenport, Coulthart, Peters.

Ald. Gillett offering the following:

Resolved, That the members of this Council deeply sympathize with His Honor Mayor French in the loss of his child, in testimony of which we will adjourn and attend the funeral at his residence this afternoon.

Adopted.

On motion Council adjourned to meet on next Friday, April 4, 1862, at 2 o’clock p. m.
