Diary of Lieutenant-Colonel Rutherford B. Hayes: Sunday, June 22, 1862

“Same as before.” — A warm, beautiful, Sunday morning; all things bright and cheerful. Inklings and hints of matters before Richmond are more encouraging. But these delays of McClellan are very wearisome.
