We have met this morning Mr. R. Crothers, who left the camp of the 62d Regiment on Tuesday last. He brought with him about $12,000 from soldiers of the Regiment for their friends and families. We learn by him that the health of the Regiment is good, and that they are nearly all ready for duty. It will be remembered that the Regimental Officers are Col. Francis B. Pond, Lieut. Colonel C. C. Steele, and Major Delafield Du Bois. These officers have attained a great degree of popularity with their men. The Regiment is one of the most efficient of the brigade.
