Col. Barnes informs us that private S. D. Hedges, of Pleasant Valley, who was dangerously wounded at Pea Ridge, (in the 37th Illinois,) has since died at Keitsville. – Mr. Hedges, was highly prized by his officers as a good and able soldier. He died a soldier’s death.
