BOSTON, March 29,
The number of Gloucester fishing vessels lost off George’s Bank in the gale of February 4th was fifteen, and the number lost February 1st was 4. By the loss of these nineteen vessels 138 men were drowned, leaving 70 widows and 147 children to be provided for. Contributions are solicited for them.
