Books will be opened to-day . . .

. . . for those who wish to subscribe weekly to the relief fund, and each member of the finance committee will be furnished with one.  This will give all an opportunity to subscribe to the extent of their means.  Few are unable to give something weekly, and five cents would yield a very handsome sum, if at all liberally participated in.
