SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Feb. 18. – It is not probable that our army will follow Price very far into Arkansas.
There is considerable talk of fortifying Neoshoe and placing a detachment of troops at Cassville. A letter found in Price’s headquarters, reveals a strong Union sentiment in Arkansas.
Albert Pike is working wonders among the Indians.
