. . . has recently received from Henry Clinton Parkhurst a collection of Civil War relics and a number of scrap books containing historical material. Mr. Parkhurst was a member of Company C, Sixteenth Iowa Volunteer Infantry, during the Civil War, and was later a newspaper writer and the author of several volumes of prose and poetry. A map showing the topography and buildings of the Andersonville prison is included in the collection.
