The members of this Society are requested to bear in mind
that this being the first Tuesday in the month, when according to a resolution
lately passed, each member whose name is registered is expected to pay into the
treasury a certain sum, all are desired to be present at the meeting of the
Society this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Odd Fellows’ Hall. Those patriotic ladies whose names are not on
the book, and are not able to give their time, and feel interested in the
welfare of the sick soldiers of Iowa are earnestly invited to contribute their
monthly mite, that we may have the means of continuing our labors for the
solders’ benefit.
BY ORDER OF THE
PRESIDENT.
