Organized at Camp Harrison near Cincinnati, Ohio, and
mustered in May 7, 1861. Moved to Camp Dennison, Ohio, May 12, and duty there
till June 3. Reorganized for three years' service June 3, 1861. Three months'
men mustered out August 21, 1861.
