SERVICE. – Occupation of Nashville, Tenn., during Hood's
investment December 1-15. Battles of Nashville December 15-16. Pursuit of Hood
to the Tennessee River December 17-28. Duty at Chattanooga January 10 to April,
1865, and at Fort Phelps till July. Guard and provost duty at Augusta, Ga.,
till October. Mustered out at Augusta, Ga., October 9, and discharged at
Columbus, Ohio, October 22, 1865.
Regiment lost during service 2 Officers and 19 Enlisted men
killed and mortally wounded and 53 Enlisted men by disease. Total 74.
