We lay still again today, but all improved their time
cleaning up their accouterments. We drew two days' rations, which relieved our
hunger. We received orders to march early in the morning. Colonel Chambers
returned from the North today. He is to take command of our brigade, a thing a great
many of the boys were sorry to learn.
