An order came last night for us to move camp to-morrow. We
hope it may be countermanded. The ladies started for Vermont this morning.
Colonel A. B. Jewett went with them as far as Washington. A part of the
regiment started for picket at 9 a. m.; has rained hard since 11 a. m.
