My predictions are fully realized, it has rained torrents
all day; haven't done a thing but mope over the fire; so muddy outside it's
almost impossible to get round even if it didn't rain so; have sent in an
application for three days' leave to go to Washington for examination; very
busy reviewing tactics; no letters.
