Headquarters Second Mass. Inf'y,
June 10, 1865.
Our old corps, division and brigade, have been broken up,
and yesterday we marched out of our beautiful camp and away from every old
association. The Third Wisconsin cheered us and we cheered them, but a good
many of us felt more like blubbering. Our division is composed of the veteran
regiments of the Twentieth Corps belonging in the Eastern States.
