Our gallant young townsman, Theodore Majtheny, were are pleased to learn by a private letter received yesterday, as been appointed to a captaincy of cavalry of Freemont’s Body-Guard. The letter was written at Martinsburgh, where the Body-Guard was, about to start for Harrsionburg. This would indicate a junction of Fremont’s and Bank’s armies, a very probably event.
