Storm nearly all night. Wind high all day but so unsteady
that the sea remains comparatively smooth. Several of the officers and quite a
no of the Men become sea sick Col. bears dispatches for Indianola, run into
harbor at Corpus Christi. find the mistaken coast along to Indianola at 5. P.
M. leave dispatches on board gunboat, & strike out for Galveston.
