proceed at high tide tomorrow, business part of town dead. Suburbs beautiful,
fine residences, with shade trees & flowers in profusion. Citizens scarce.
29th Ill. Vets. just arrived this morning. 7th Mass. Bat arrives on the steamer
U. P. Banks, at 6 P. M.
