Diary of Private Daniel L. Ambrose: Thursday, May 15, 1862

To-day it is very warm and sultry. This evening we again have division drill, and as usual, the Seventh is the star. So says Davies of West Point education. Brisk skirmishing is going on this evening between the rebel pickets and our bridge builders.
