The wind has been whistling around the cabin all day. It's
been misty, but we've had little rain; have been to church and written home. We
have a goodly sized log chapel covered with the fly of the new hospital tent.
Mrs. W. A. Child was present and sang, a rich treat, for it has been a long
time since I've heard a lady's voice at church. Sergeant J. M. Read has been in
this evening.
