Moved at 8 o'clock a. m.; weather freezing cold; only seven
teams at work with us; regiment excused from brigade dress parade this evening.
It's very cold to-night; shall sleep on Captain G. E. Davis's floor; men
are without quarters; should think they would freeze. It's rumored Savannah is
captured; doubt it.
