At breakfast met an old friend of the 2nd. Raised Co. F.
Comfortably settled in the cars at 8. Melissa enjoyed the Cheat River and Cheat
Mountain scenery first rate. Bellaire at dark. Some country lads and lassies on
board. Met Birge on Central Ohio sleeping car.
