Cold & blustry
Drilling exercises as usual in the forenoon with Battalion Drill in the
afternoon & Dress Parade in the evening Our Capt. ranks higher than any
other Capt. in the Regt. as his commission is the oldest Lt. Allen Officer of
the Guard to day at Cairo.
