From Cairo

CAIRO, May 27 – The adjutant of the 10th Michigan was killed on Tuesday while taking observations of the rebel entrenchments through a glass.

The mortars of Com. Davis’ flotilla have again renewed the bombardment of Pillow.  They are firing at intervals.

CAIRO, May 29.

Our mortar boats are again throwing shells into Pillow’s rebels.  They reply at long intervals.  Little damage is done on either side.

The adjutant of the 10th Michigan Regiment was snot near Corinth by a sharp shooter, while taking observations.
