BOSTON, Feb. 1.
A fire broke out here last night in the Granite Block, Nos.
283, 285 and 287 Washington street, occupied by John H. Pray & Sons, carpet
dealers, Jno. B. Davis & Co., and Wm. R Storms & Co., dry goods
dealers. The building was owned by the
heirs of Franklin Derler. The loss is
$50,000, which is mostly insured.
