Question: Is there a way to find more information on one of the Missouri militia? I am interested in knowing more about Joseph Lawson who belonged to the old 5th Cavalry Regiment, company D. He died of pneumonia 5 May 1862. I found his name on a list of "U.S. Register of Volunteers 1861-1865, Missouri. Please contact me at denagoblue@comcast.net
