Capt. Barrett starts to escort Capt. Painter and crew to Georgetown. Ferry broke, one mule lost, $300. Barrett gives $10 to get his sword from river. Second Lieutenant Beaulieu $5 to get his carpet bag. Raised the flagstaff in front of headquarters.
