. . . and privates A. W. Scott and Levi White started to rejoin
their company, Capt. Littler’s, on Saturday.
Sergt. Stonebraker brought up with him to Le Claire, private William
Carlton, of the 13th regiment, who was badly wounded at the battle of
Shiloh. Private Scott was wounded at
Fort Donelson, and is hardly recovered yet; but in obedience to orders goes to
rejoin his regiment.
