Our battalion moved
from the north corner of Roane County to within one mile and a half of
Wartburg, where we remained for two days waiting for some clothing that was on
the way to us from Knoxville.
General Zollicoffer
moved from Wartburg in the direction of Jamestown, with the infantry and
artillery.
