Another Davenport Man In Limbo

Hogane, a former resident of this city, who two successive elections wasn’t chosen surveyor of Scott county.  From a private letter received in town last evening, we learn he was captured at New Madrid.  He was in command of a company of secesh sappers and miners, who he claimed were A No. 1; but they ran nevertheless about as fast as the rest of the Confeds.
