Dear Sir:
We are about to take up a subscription for Kansas in our state, under
circumstances that will insure a large amount, and we want you to give us the
next week from Tuesday 23d to Friday 26th. On one of those days we intend to
have a mass-meeting of New England at Boston. Do not refuse us if you can
possibly come. If you can give us but one day, say which one, but give us as
many as you can. Please answer by telegraph as well as by letter.
