Regiment lost during service 1 Officer and 15 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 3 Officers and 219 Enlisted men by disease. Total 238.

Col.. Barnes, of the 87th Illinois regiment . . .

. . . who so distinguished himself on the battlefield at Pea Ridge, Ark., arrived at his home in Rock Island on Tuesday evening.
