WILLIAM CLARK DIXON, b. in Newark, [Ohio,] Oct. 14, 1844. He enlisted in December, 1861, and served as a private in Co. K, 15th Iowa Infantry, and was killed at the Battle of Corinth, Miss., Oct. 3, 1862.
