Enforcement of the Order prohibiting the publication of Military Movements

WASHINGTON, March 24.

Certain newspapers having flagrantly persisted in the publication of military details in violation of the orders of the War Department, thus endangering the safety of our armies and the success of military operations, the Secretary of War has ordered the enforcement of the penalties, and a special court martial to assemble at Washington for the trial and punishment of the offenders.
