It is reported that General Bragg is marching on this place.1
Colonel Hare has not been with us for some time and will not be with us again.
We have just learned that he resigned his commission on August 31st, on account
of the wound which he received at the battle of Shiloh. He was respected by all
the men of the regiment, and we are sorry to lose him.
